The Candy Factory Mystery is about four kids who live with their Grandfather Alden. First, they receive chocolate mice with broken tails and candy hearts with scary messages from Winkles's Candy Factory. They decide to take a trip to Rose Winkles's candy factory to help out. The workers don't seem to want them around, and lots of candy is getting messed up. Is someone purposely trying to hurt the factory's buisness?
Candy Factories

The Candy Factory Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner is about four orphan children living in a boxcar alone. These children are Benny, Violet, Jessie, and Henry Alden. They eventually find their grandfather and they are working in a candy factory. Strange things are going on in the factory and the workers are acting like they do not want to be with the Aldens. Read this book to find out who was causing the problems at the candy factory. I liked this book because it is a mystery and I like to try and figure it out before it ends. I think other school aged children would like this book. It is a series and there are more books to read about the Aldens. I think the author wrote this because she wanted people to read mysteries and have imagination.
