More Than Expected

I began reading "The Bush Survival Bible," thinking it would be a simple lampooning of the re-elected President. To my surprise, I found insights into politics from thoughtful people and interesting suggestions on how to re-build an opposition party. This book is more about a common humanity than politics, with a tangy sense of humor that makes it very readable. "The Bush Survival Bible" is a very pleasant surprise.

FORGET THE AGENDA -- IT'S JUST DOWNRIGHT FUNNY

Just finished it! Wondeful! Brilliant! And fast. I'm a Libertarian--my candidate ALWAYS loses! So get over it and sit back and enjoy an inventive, out-of-the-box, fresh, cynical-at-times, all-over-the-place, never-know-what-to-next-expect explosion of fun. It reads like 20 years SNL on speed. Boom, boom, boom! Some folks publish agendas, others therapy, but this is a very funny guy publishing very funny stuff. Which all of us need right now, especially us extreme political losers.

After the past week it was a blessing to read a humorous yet thought provoking book on how we survive the next four years before we reclaim the country for ALL Americans, not just some.
