To be fair, I can't really review the book since I only made it to page 14 before giving it up. The writing format is just really not my style. I like my books to look like... Well, books. This is my first (and most likely last) Meg Cabot book so I'm unsure if this is unique to her writing format but this book is written primarily as a series of emails, text messages, journal entries and the like and that just really annoyed me. I might actually have enjoyed it if I'd stuck with it longer but again it's just not what I'm looking for in a book.

My grown daughters and I do NOT have the same taste in reading matter. Nevertheless I left this series out for them in our vacation home to try.
My eldest wrote to me ‘these books are ridiculous. Why am I already reading number 4?’
