Great little read. I am newly in the pilates industry, so the background of this book was very interesting. Good points about the business to keep in mind as I further my new career. Somewhere in this turmoil she lost the reason why she started, her love for the method. It became...well a business. I've heard similar stories with Bikram. This is a great book to read like a story for those not in the pilates industry as much as though in the think of it. Easy read, can be completed in a couple of days.
The Body Biz: The Pilates Story

A friend had the book and said I had to read it even though I'm a runner and not a Pilates person. The Pilates information was interesting, but the business aspect was what kept me going. The lead character grew a business from nothing and never let anything stop her. If she reached a dead end, she turned around and came up with new ideas. The chick lit aspect was also good.
Alot I didn't know about Pilates

This is as much a manual for how to improve your body as it it is a fun read in the chick lit genre. Makes me want to take a trip to Santa Fe despite the its New Age craziness.
