Elmer Kelton's Texas Still Lives

This book is a continuation of the adventures of Texas Ranger Andy Pickard, Badger Boy, a one time captive of the Comanches, and his ranger friend, Farley Brackett. This time they have to deliver a prisoner for trial. Along the way they become involved in a family feud concerning this prisoner. Andy also runs across a former tutor of his, Rusty Shannon, a retired ranger, and he has an issue or two to resolve. Texas Vendetta is the fifth book in Mr. Kelton's Texas Rangers series, and as always you will find believable characters and authentic locations and history in his books. Enjoy.
