Great book on development

I checked this book out at my local library and now have it on my wishlist. It has developmental milestones in a number of motor, cognitive and emotional areas in a checklist format as well as instructions on how to observe your child's progress. You are really "testing" your child but observing them. In each category, there are a number of activities that can be done with your child to help them build skills in that particular area. The activities are listed by category with age sub-headings. I have enjoyed doing a few of these activities with my 15 mo. old daughter and would recommend this book. I found the checklists very helpful in assessing what areas to work on with my daughter as she was advanced in some areas and needed more practice in others.
