Klein has written ten stories about kids with 'attitude.' Each story has an unexpected twist or odd way of looking at things. The subjects range over school life, to 'drop outs,' to thieves, to the supernatural. The style varies over comic to sinister to sweet. The longest story is only 20 pages so the book will not take too much time away from homework. Klein is an Australian and this book has a particular 'Aussie' flavor, though it is accessible to any reader.
