Advanced Teaching Online (3rd Edition) by Wm Draves

I teach faculty how to create an online course. Of all the books and articles I have read, I found this book to be the most valuable. It is full of practical advice which gives the new online educator some concrete standards to use. I highly recommend this book to new online educators.

Great resource book!

I really love the content of this book. It is a great resource for my numerous online courses. The only thing I found rather disturbing is the book had quite a few "obvious" typographical errors. It seems like no one proof read this text BEFORE publication. You might want to proof it before the next publication. Otherwise, I find this book great reading and a valuable resource. Thank you for making this available to instructors.

A Great Foundation For Distance Education

The book doesn't only tell us where we are but by looking at the past examples in human history, it tells us where we are heading in "life-long learning". Good examples are used through out the book. Easy reading for non-technical people who are interested to see the future of online teaching and learning.
