I read this book from front to back. It was a great tutorial that got me started writing LotusScript quickly. I've also found it serves as a great reference manual. Reading this book has paid off for me many times over.
Great book when little programming and OOP experience

Having to learn lotusscript myself with little experience in programming and OOP, this book very clearly presents notes classes and its properties/methods in a systematic way. It gave me the boost I needed to get confident with LS ! The "order of events" database included on the disk is particularly useful for beginning LS programmers. Only minus, I would have liked more complicated examples included.
I am teaching myself Lotusscript with this book

I am about three-quarters of the way through this book and have learned a great deal. I am writing Lotusscript into my databases and enjoy the added power and control over formula language. I had to put a great deal of effort getting in sync with this book but it has been well worth it. I would recommend this book to anyone who is basically ignorant of Lotusscript and similar languages (as I was) and is willing to put the time in. If you are familiar with Javascript or Visual BASIC this book might not be the best choice, but for me it has been great.
Great Startup, Great Reference

Between this book and Lotus' yellow book on Scripting, you can pick it up quickly, especially if you have VB comprehension. TY has great examples of script that you can adapt to your own use, and it covers almost all of the methods/properties available. I would highly recommend it. The only thing it lacked [from what I've used] is an outline of sending email from Script, but Notes Help can give you guidance there.
