Helen, though remembered as the face of that war, was just a bribe for the human judge in a beauty contest - neither muse nor most beautiful. Still, she was beautiful. My muse, not a minor goddess like Homer's but most beautiful to me, allowed herself to be adored in ink. This sonnet cycle is the result.
