I found this book to be particularly detailed and informative covering subjects from diet, sleep, etc. A great addition to the collection to go with The Scholar Warrior and, of course, The Classics.
A great overview of Taoist science

This is one of the best books ever to explain the science and philosophy of Taoism. The first section brilliantly explains yin/yang, chi, the five elements, etc. in a manner few other authors could ever match. Consider one of the authors explanations of the nature of yin and yang: "Yang is something that seeks to accomplish itself, yin is something that seeks to join in the act of accomplishment." This book is full of simple yet profound and unique gems like that. The last section gives some details of the authors remarkable spiritual lineage, something this author modestly omits from his other books.
The most comprehensive book on the application of the Tao.

As an instructor of T'ai Chi, I recommend this book to all of my students. Hua-Ching Ni seems to relate his knowledge to each reader individually. Any martial arts instructor would benefit in reading this book.
