Are you tired of rude replies, even primal grunts, coming from the mouths of your children? Do you wonder who switched your sweet child with this wild animal who's now throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of the restaurant? Whether you're training your two-year-old to say "please" or trying to talk with your teenage boy about his treatment of girls, you know that teaching your kids about manners is not an easy task. Kids who are well mannered are more confident and successful and have better relationships. But how and where do you begin? In Taming Your Family Zoo, Donna Jones offers real-life stories, insight, and loads of wisdom on what it takes to raise a well-mannered child. With Donna's help, you'll be amazed at how easy (and fun!) teaching manners can be. In six weeks or less, you will see a marked difference in how your children interact with others and with you. She covers EVERYTHING. I think it will take more than 6 weeks though! I love how the book is divided into 2 parts - the first part being for the parent. She really does cover everything, not just table manners. I wish everyone, with or without children, would read this book.
I don't even have kids and I loved it!

This is a delightful book. I got it for a friend who has four children and read it through before giving it as a gift. It is thoughtful, engaging, humorous, and filled with the importance of communicating love when teaching children. It seems sometimes it's almost a lost concept into today's world to instill kids with the understanding that we do not wish offend others intentionally and so we must consider our behavior! I gave it to my friend with confidence that she would find it helpful and informative.
