Helpful to have.

I found this study guide to be very useful. Basically, it goes over the same information in the textbook, but in a more condensed form. This made it very useful for reviewing. It also gives examples that are not found in the text. Perhaps the most useful thing about the study guide is the fact that it has problems to solve. My chemistry professor stated many times that the best way to succeed in chemistry is to solve lots of problems. So, if nothing else, it is worth buying the study guide to have the extra problems.
