Unusually Creative, Magical, Sexy, and Mystifying

A friend loaned me this unusual book--by self-proclaimed, gender-transcendent "greatest lover in the world" Strange de Jim--back in the 80s, and I enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought a copy of my own. It's a really bizarre collection of mysterious experiences, that resulted from the author inviting people back to his home with the offer, "Would you like to have a strange experience?" There is something magical about the book and it really stimulated my imagination. I used to imagine that "the strange experience" involved some interesting blend of massage therapy, bisexual eroticism, mysticism, and theatre--but I mostly loved how it was kept a secret and a mystery, and I enjoyed reading the limited things that people said about it. The photos of the people who describe their "strange experience" with Strange de Jim in the book--which make up a large portion of the book--were really cool too; sexy and intense.
