Neat book if you were a "Stewardess" before they became "Flight Attendants" Also did not know until I bought the book that I am on the back cover.

Stewardesses of bygone era

This is a must read for anybody who has worked in the airline industry. My sister was a PSA Sterwardess and is pictured in this book. Really fun to look at.

A tiny coffee table book...

A photo book, with lots of pictures, ads, training materials which is fun to read. A great gift for a kid on her or his first flight, or just a great bus book. Some of the material makes you think - what the heck were they thinking? Some of the photos will make you laugh. And some will make you wonder what airline the photo came from. Get it new or used, get for a gift, a coffee table book or something for the kids to see what the past was like, before robots took over.

My Aunt was a stewardess for years and I got this as a gift for her. She continues to rave and rave about the book and enjoys the authentic trip down memory lane each time she flips through the book.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book !!!

As an unabashed pop-culture junkie, I was completely transported by this spectacular chronicle of the glamour-days of air travel. The gorgeous collection of photographs beautifully illustrated the heady days of exotic jet-setting destinations, hot stewardesses, elegantly-dressed passengers and (remember?) meal service. One really longs for those days after enjoying this entertaining read. This book solves all my problems for the hard-to-buy-for-person this holiday season.
