Fantastic new Journal for Voice and Speech

This is the first is a new series of books being published by the Voice and Speech Trainers Association. Standard Speech isn't JUST about that - there are many more articles and many of them are peer-reviewed. The standard of this journal is top-notch.For those interested in the debate on standard speech for the theatre, it continues here, with articles challenging and supporting the approach first developed by Edith Warman Skinner, and made popular in such books as "Speak with Distinction."An important book for every voice and speech professional to own; there is also lots of interest for actors, directors, and teachers of all areas of performance.Highly recommended!
