Simple, Biblical, and Relevant Approach

After listening to a friend discuss how this book was a great approach to evangelism, I finally decided to pick it up and give it a try. This is a very easy book to read. I am not a super fast reader but finished it in really just two or three sittings. Hemphill writes in an easy, conversational style that keeps you moving through each chapter. As to the content, I think the material is well thought through and is a fitting challenge for how we think about evangelism. The approach challenges us to not think of evangelism as simply a program, but a way of life. The impact of the book for me has been how often I have thought of its points following reading it. Often I read a book and grab a few pointers here and there and forget it, but I keep coming back to this book in my thoughts and in messages I have been sharing. So I would definitely recommend this book, especially if you are looking for a small group material. This would make for a good conversation starting resource in that setting.
