Excellent summary of a movie tragedy and the legal battle that resulted
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 19 years ago
I've read both the major works on this incident in movie history, and though it is almost impossible to credit one much more than the other, I would have to give this one special marks for its legal insights. Additionally, it gave me the clearest perception of who the men on trial were, and how their personalities affected both the disaster and the trial. I would like to have had more sense of the victims' personalities, but the personalities of those the author was able to interview come across brilliantly. An excellent, page-turning read, even if you already know the story.
