Praxis II study guide

This item helped me imensly study for the Praxis II. I wouldl definitley recommend it. It came pretty fast as well.

Core Knowledge Study Guide:Special Education

I have purchased similar study guides previously and they have turned out to be useful. The format of this book is very easy to follow and understandable. I am scheduled to take a test in September but I'm sure that we this study guide material I won't have any troubles passing the exam.

ETS is NOT giving up the goods...

This book was useful to me ONLY because of the one practice test that is included. I used the practice test to familiarize myself with the types of questions that would be asked on the test, being as this was an actual old praxis exam. The information that this guide contained on the subjects that would be tested can be found for free at the ETS-Praxis website. I found the best way to prepare for this exam was to answer as many practice questions that I could find, and then research the answers for the questions that I got wrong. I also used questions from both XAM special education study guides, the one for the cali test and the one for the praxis test. I passed both parts of the Praxis for certification in MD.

Definitely Helpful!

The book serves as a great guide to studying for the praxis. It outlines the topics convered on the exam. However, as there is only one practice test included in the booklet, you still need to use your textbooks to study the information outlined in the book. Would be more helpful if the practice test was on a CD.

helpful study guide

I used this book to prepare for the spec ed core content exam and did very well. At first I was not impressed with the book because there was only one practic exam and the book itself is very thin but it did give me direction for studying. I would have focused on the wrong stuff if I would have tried to study on my own.
