Space Crew

In the Solar System, and in the Universe in general, there are other living beings with various types of bodies, but with feelings like ours. In this novel, we will see that all planets and their satellites suffer the assault of meteorites, asteroids, and radiation that make some of them uninhabitable, forcing their people to go out in search of new territories that may offer them safety, causing them to mingle with others. The story is a first-person narrative by Ursicinio, the last of several generations of a family trained to go out into space exploration in search of secure places to live.
This fantastical story, at first glance simple-minded, triggers a socio-historical issue. Upon visiting the Earth, an extraterrestrial being described it thusly, "what caught my attention the most was that its people have a strange behavior, they can lie, steal, feel envy, and be self-centered, to the point that in some cases it drives them to kill each other." A simple commentary by someone that sees us from afar, making us think, why can't we get along better in this planet in which we have luckily ended up living? In its pages we can also feel the need for freedom and love, and not just because of the respect that we deserve to grant to each other to live in harmony.
