From the inner workings of Grandpa's nose hair to noodles in a haystack, Calef Brown once again proves he is a master of hilarious poetic imponderables such as . . . donuts: Why do all grownups like... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is a great one to add to any child's bookshelf. It has unique illustrations and creative, short poems that are both fun and thought-provoking. It is a wonderful poetry book that is sure to engage children's imaginations and interest. The poetry reminded me a little bit of Shel Silverstein because of its creativity, length, humor, and imaginative themes (like adults who love donuts too much, a grandfather's odd mustache, and an egret that tells secrets), but Calef Brown really has a unique style and voice. This is a delightful book, and I recommend it.
