Ashrek was once the greatest sorcerer who ever lived, but he became consumed by power in his quest to rule the entire world. It took a great war to defeat him, yet he could not be killed. Instead, he was exiled to an ethereal realm where his sorcery would not work. With the help of a thug seduced by dreams of glory, Ashrek is freed from his exile and returns to his quest to conquer the world.

Jarrin, a veteran Tavian soldier who is unafraid to make hard life and death choices. Kari, an unwitting pawn of both The Oracles and Ashrek. Tasker, a descendant of an ancient group charged with protecting the world from sorcerers such as Ashrek. Together, they must find their way to Ashrek's stronghold and defeat the sorcerer before he regains all his power and begins his conquest of the world.
