The Simplest way to get friendly with SNMP

SNMP was something completely new for me and i was struggling to understand it reading various RFC's. Althoug they helped but it was not unless i started reading this book that SNMP seemed something really interesting to work with.Sincere thanks to Dr Feit.

The most clearly written technical book I have read.

I am new to the network management field and need to get up to speed quickly. This book is written in such a way to communicate a lot of technical information quickly and is just what I needed. Thanks, Dr Feit, for the help.

Very clearly written.

I'm new to the network management field. I found though, that introductory concepts were explained, and explained in a clear simple way. Even though I had read explanations before - this time I understood because of the writing style.
