Great book. Not obsolete at all.

Smart Questions to Ask Your Stockbroker, although written sixteen years ago, is a great resource book for any beginning investor because the Question and Answer format makes the book extremely easy to read. Most of all, the basic questions asked will likely be the same questions you've been asking but couldn't get straight answers. So, I am quite surprised how much ground the book has covered. Of course, we live in the 21st century, but it doesn't render Smart Questions to Ask Your Stockbroker obsolete. Rather, I like to think of the book as a learning tool in terms of the basics of how investing works. All in all, my knowledge in these matters has greatly improved because I picked up Smart Questions to Ask Your Stockbroker along with other investing books so I can soak the information up however repetitiously.
