I found a copy of this book in the library when my son and daughter-in-law adopted a "westie" (shown on the front cover) and enjoyed it so much that I'm buying two copies, for them and for me. Full of info, wonderful color photos, high quality paper.
All about training.

This is a very informative book if you are looking for help in training your dog. It starts with an overview, then how to select a puppy (when, breed, price, etc). Then it goes on to taking care of your puppy, followed by feeding, traing and socializing, grooming your small dog, care of adults, medical problems and ailments and finally breed profiles and information. There is over 60 pages talking about taking care of your dog but there is very little if you just want pictures of breeds and knowing about them. Overall, it was a good book for training purposes and for people who have never owned a dog before.
