Excellent thriller - Royal kidnapping at its best

An attempted kidnapping of a member of the Royal family comes off in an excellent action novel about the IRA's battle with the British. Accurate detail about the way things *really* happen.

exciting, realistic adventure into assassination

Good British author... this has a unique plot line in which the target, the assassin, and the detective are all women. Stevens is a perfectionist in getting his detail correct. Your visit to The Killing Room will fascinate you -- especially when you realize that's it's for real.
