In Skinheads, John King takes us inside skinhead culture today and explains how it never really went away.Skinheads is the story of a way of life, told through three generations of a family: Terry... This description may be from another edition of this product.
There isn't much written that narrates the traditional views and values of the British working class culture. I have enjoyed several of John King's books previous to reading this one, and thought this one of his best. Not just a book about a street thug telling war stories, rather a generational view of a culture from its roots till present. Great book.

I really enjoyed this book. Can relate to the main characters. A similar type story to the football trilogy. This is a good read particularly if you're into the skinhead 'scene'. Ive been involved for going on 25 years now and this book is about 'real' people. Not the ones the press and hollywierd like to portray. It aint about racism or politics. Its about being working class and proud. I highly recommend this book and would rate it as one of my favourites.
