In Sir Lanka, an island city where the Thieves Guild rules supreme, meet DaVic, a private eye with more quips than credits, whose idea of a successful day is solving the mystery of how to afford his next smoothie. But when a mysterious woman in grey hands him an enigmatic package and a high-paying job for the Thieves Guild, DaVic finds himself on the run through the dark streets of Sir Lanka.

Our intrepid (and incredibly reluctant) hero is left dodging Guild members, outsmarting pursuers, and trying not to get killed by his own paranoia. Along the way, he finds a teenage sidekick, KarJa, who forces herself into the (non-vacant) role of his apprentice. Helped by an assortment of friends and acquaintances (and the occasional really odd stranger) who are as weird and varied as Sir Lanka itself is, the two must figure out the mystery of the package and who is pursing DaVic before time runs out.

"Sir Lanka Files" is a standalone humorous science fiction novel set in the Fifty Galaxies universe on an alternate earth in a post apocalyptic future. The earth is recovering from cataclysmic wars of the past. Humanity had been at the brink of extinction and had been eking out a bleak existence till the arrival of the aliens. The aliens brought along new technology and prosperity, allowing humanity to leapfrog up the technological ladder.

The Fifty Galaxies in question are an actual scientific possibility since the Milky Way galaxy is in a cluster of galaxies composed of around fifty galaxies. The stories set in the Fifty Galaxies universe are about the interactions between humans on earth with beings from various planets in the fifty galaxies cluster.
