Silent Prisoner is based on a true story. It will take the reader on a highly emotional journey through one woman's life and of her surviving domestic violence. The character April follows life's road as best she can without the benefit of having parents or siblings along the way. One this road of life she meets a loving aunt, a spiritual mentor, a proper grandmother and a stoic therapist. These people are in her life for only a brief time but long enough to plant the seed of that will sprout forth her strength and faith. These will be the very thing that later saves her after hearing in her heart the words, "get out and get out now." The names in the book are fictional but the story is real.Author/Cover artist, Amanda Young, is April in the book. She is a survivor of childhood abuse and domestic violence. She hopes that by telling her story she will plant within the reader the seed that will help bring forth the strength and faith that is within everyone.
