It takes a lot even today to publish a book dealing with a situation as touchy as racism. For that, Snelling should already be awarded for speaking out and raising awareness that blacks are no different than we are. In fact, DJ's friend Hilary seems so good that I probably will take twice the time she took to learn to get to Hilary's level. DJ still isn't sure about her mother marrying Robert and his torpedo Double B's that always makes the books more fun, even though she tells her best friend Amy that she wants to call off the wedding. Dealing with a lot of emotional issues in this book, it was a treat to read, and has me anticpating what is still to come.

Overall this book was good, I think it was the best of the series so far but I think that's because by this time we understand more of the characters and how they act. I really enjoyed this book and suggest it to anyone.
