Good but not great

I studied the manual thoroughly and reviewed the audio cd and 4 practice tests. I was very confident thinking that I had learnt everything I needed to know to ace the exam. The reading material was easy to comprehend but did not prepare me enough to handle the exam with ease. I did however pass the exam 'barely'. This book is enough for passing the series 63 but just 'enough.' You need to at least get 95% out of the book to pass. The book did not cover couple of the questions on the exam and gave me the "am I suppose to know this?" thought.
