Excellent Beginners / Intermediate Artist's How-To Book

I've always like Jerry Yarnell's style of painting landscapes. This small book doesn't disappoint. With various lessons illustrated in full color, he breaks down complex landscape elements (rocks, grasses, ocean waves, clouds, and so on) into simple steps allowing for relatively easy replication. He features acrylic, but the techniques are easily transferable to oils, and to a limited extent, [opaque] water colors. Very happy with this book.
