Keeps you satisfied from begining to end. The store starts out ..where a young girl...is told by her mother..just before her mother dies..that the Father she knows and loves..is NOT her real Father...but the man she had an affair with Before she married her Father...is her True Blood Father. The man is Sherlock Holmes! Dora travels to London with her cousin, in hopes of seeing Mr. HOLMES..to show him the mothers letter and pictures..to find out if its the real truth. When she arrives ..all her Hope is lost..as she finds out Mr. HOLMES has died in Switzerland. She enlists the help of a Detectives assistant, and working together..they try to find her missing cousins stolen love letters, she must have back..before her husband hears of them...as they are being held for ransom money. As she helps the young assistant Peter Cartwright, they start to develop a liking for each other, and work together on another case of the kidnapping of Lady Rose..while doing so..they learn of deep secrets of each others lives...and care for each other more than they both wish to admitt !! Loved the light playfulness of the whole story, from beginning to end. Really an enjoyable read !!
