Great Grammar!

I found this to be a pretty unusual and useful book--a teacher-friend gave it to me: It is a grammar and writing handbook, and it also gives tips on how to read and how to write various things, papers, stories, etc. Best of all it makes you laugh!I found myself reading it right straight through--I think that is the first time I've ever done that with a grammar book. It really works, too--I mean, I can use it like a handbook, anything I need to look up, it is easy to find and right there. I've got it right on my desk.

Outstanding Language Arts Resource!

If you need a resource to help a child better understand the cor skills in reading and language arts -- this is it! The Score Booster Handbook for Reading and Language Arts is appropriate for any students in grades 4-8 and is great for both review and test prep. It's kid-friendly and easy to use with explanation of each skill on one or two pages and sample test items and test-taking tips. As an educational consultant, I recommend it highly. It should be on the shelf of every classroom. I can't wait to see the Score Booster Handbook for Math when it comes out.
