Disappointing

In this series, this book proved very disappointing. Sometimes this author is great fun, but not here. Characters are maudlin and superficially drawn. The storyline is non existent and I kept checking a how many pages there were left before I reached the end! An end to be wished for. There are two more books in this series but after this I am not desperate to start them.
