The Third best in the series

This book, according to my seven year old daughter Charlotte,has a good plot and is fun to read. Happy the pony, the hero of the Big Apple Barn series, gets a new friend named Sassafrases Surprise. Sassy's first day is marred by an accident when an inexperienced rider kicks her, she goes too fast and the rider says shes hates the pony. Sassy, upset, runs away into the woods. Happy follows-
