terrific resource

The Sam and Pat series stands out among bottom-up literacy texts for its readability--by which I mean that it is actually interesting to read, with real, memorably-drawn characters--and the quantity (and quality) of exercises it contains. As a onetime struggling literacy teacher, I have spent a lot of time shopping for adult ESOL literacy texts, and I am a bit sorry to say that this is the only text I have found that I can wholeheartedly recommend. It would be great/helpful to see new books added to the series.
