Salmon Creek

Text and illustrations are so beautiful. I first bought the book for a grandchild, then bought the same book for two other grandchildren and two adult friends and one for myself!!!!

Karen Reczuch's artwork is a perfect visual aid in caring forward the informative text, which is enhanced with the inclusion of an afterword presenting the factual basis for the picturebook story and the threats facing wild salmon today. Excellent Story

I highly recommend Salmon Creek. It is an excellent resource for learning about the salmon in a rich poetic story form. The beautiful artwork enhances the story and there is more factual information, including a timeline, at the end of the book.
