I enjoyed this book immensely. Couldn't put it down. As a fellow sailing fanatic I've read alot of cruising stories and can't wait to read more. This tale is simply and forthrightly told, full of humor and goodwill. Very entertaining. But, most importantly to an inland lake sailor hungry for information about the cruising lifestyle, this book provides alot of information through the personal experiences of the author and his wife. Floyd tells of his developing competence with honesty and humor. In the final analysis this is a cautionary tale about weather and the sea, a must read for any retirement cruiser in the making.
