Keep in mind this is a 1997 edition

I was disappointed when I received this book. The author obviously focused only on the northern west, there are no sites mentioned in California which is where I live. Very few sites in Oregon and the rest of the US west. The author has a lot of information on sites in British Columbia and Western Canada. Plus this edition is really outdated, there have been so many new discoveries over the past two decades that I would suggest you find something newer. There are nice color photos in the book.
