Lately, Grindell's carefree life has been on a downward spiral. He's been fighting with his mom and dad, and his girlfriend just dumped him. He wants a car-and freedom. Wheels will take him away from his overbearing parents and heartache. So when his dad gives him a strange mission, he thinks he's getting a break. He travels to the family campsite in the mountains to retrieve an old bar that's buried by a tree. According to Dad, it's a family tradition. This seemingly harmless quest changes his life forever when he lands in the enchanted kingdom of Galdernia, where magic runs deep and alliances run shallow.
