Rock Art - American Southwest Treasure

It is a book of weight of over one hundred pages in large color photos of petroglyphs made long times ago. It includes the tribes of Anasazi, Apache, Navajo, Zuni and others in sites from southwestern Texas, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Southern California. Reading this book as if they are your personal guide in this unknown American artists. Page 46 is a large square with four quarters in the pattern of return or friendly handshake. There are three Thunderbirds on this rock art on p.101. The Chumash cave polychrome paintings near Santa Barbara showed circle with saw teeth around and a cross inside. The ancient Native Americans crafted their masterpieces for posterity to understand and appreciate. We need to preserve this collection of national treasure.
