A Disciple of Tusitala

A great book .I don't know if it is the definitive biography (I don't think so ).Published in 1993 for the Centenary (1994)of STEVENSON'S death, it's the standard "LIFE" ,now.Against Fanny Stevenson.

Outstanding, Moving Biography

Incredible, exciting, poignant biography of an underrated writer and wonderful man. Although McLynn is obviously a fan, it never becomes hagiography. This will have you reading Treasue Island again and wanting to travel to Scotland and Samoa.
