I have never felt so many emotions reading a book before.

From the very first paragraph of Riverbend, I could not put the book down. The book kept me on the edge of my seat hoping the two main characters would get together. Knowing all romance novels have happy endings, I wasn't so sure with this one. The author, Marcia Martin, wrote the main characters' feelings so well, and then pushed it to the limit by making the reader think it wasn't going to happen. The words the author wrote, made me feel everything the characters did. I cried, I got mad and impatient; yet that's what made me read on. I hope there are new novels coming out by this author soon. It was, by far, the best romance novel I've ever read and look forward to reading more work by Marcia Martin.
