According to comments from Sudoku fans who have posted ratings on books they have purchased, there are certain attributes of an ideal puzzle book they would like to see incorporated into a single book. They are as follows: 1. Only one large puzzle per page. 2. No puzzle on the back of another. Solving one damages the other. 3. No packing so many solutions on a page that they are hard to read. 4. All puzzles on the same side of the book (this suggestion is mine). This book aims to incorporate all these requirements into a single book as follows: 1. The books are 6" by 9" and therefore rectangular. This allows one puzzle, as large as possible but avoiding the gutter, to be placed at the top of the page, leaving space at the bottom. The smaller size of the book also makes it easy to carry almost anywhere. 2. Rather than placing a puzzle on the back of the page, the solution is centered at the bottom back of the page, smaller, but still easily readable yet not directly under the puzzle on the front (see the diagram on the back cover). No more rifling thru the back of the book to find the solution; just turn the page. 3. Finally, how to put all pages on one side of the book? Do we put them on the right or left? Some people are right-handed and some are left-handed. This second book contains 50 Hard and 50 Very Hard puzzles and is for right-handed solvers.
