Useful Reference

I was looking for a quick read on the development of religious thought in the U.S., and this book did the trick. It was well-documented and written in layman's terms. A book this size could not have adequately addressed the objections/problems that a deeper study might reveal about each of the religions discussed. Readers searching for criticisms (a highly-recommended activity) will need to look elsewhere because it wasn't this book's purpose.
