This is one of the fastest moving books I have read. The female character works at 12,000 ft. taking weather information. She is living in a cabin with just her dog as a companion, when she is involved in an effort to save a plane crash survivor who has some very, very nasty men after him. In order to save both their lives she must get down 12,000 ft of mountain in the middle of a blizzard. OH, and lets not forget she has been hiding out from an abusive ex husband, who decides to show up at just this moment and waits at the bottom of the mountain to get even. I loved the book, couldn't put it down.

I loved the strong female character in this adventure. The vivid Colorado descriptions are wonderful. The action scenes with the plane crash and chases were intense. A quick read but great characters.
