Discerning book for the discerning spiritual reader

This book is excellent because it draws a distinction between the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit and most importantly the relationship between the two. Babsie Bleasdell, the charismatic and deeply spiritual author, points out that it is the practice and use of the gifts result in the fruit of the Spirit. I have not seen this distinction made anywhere else and it is an extremely valuable teaching for anyone in the charismatic movement. It helps us to realise that God's gifts are given for us to use in the service of others and only in doing so do we become holy. Being blessed with the gifts alone doesn't make us holy.I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and particularly for those in leading charismatic groups.
