A quilt plays a healing role in this fictionalized portrait of a family. Expressing the timelessness of the art of quilting -- especially crazy quilting, in which the maker can sew memories together... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This was a 'home on the prairie' type book on the 4th grade reading level. After reading the reviews I see that I was not the only one making this mistake. Book should be reshelved in the children's section. I was fooled by the cover with a crazy quilt on it.
Not What I Thiught It Was

I wish I had read the only review on this one because it is NOT about quilting or crazy quilting. It is a story about a girl. I will be watching a lot better about what I purchase. Who would ever think it was a novel. What a Chame this one will definitely be in the Goodwill pile.
Recollections wasn't what I was expecting...

I am interested in crazy quilts and when I saw this book by famous Crazy Quilter Judith Baker Montano I quickly ordered it. It isn't about making quilts. It is a novel about a little girl and a small crazy quilt that her Grandmother had made. It is a cute story, but it isn't about how to make a crazy quilt.
