A great read

I must admit that the main drawcard for this novel for me was the fact that I worked in a bookshop, as the protagonist of this novel does. And I enjoyed this novel - it was like reading my life story retold by Stephen Fry. This book is funny - and reaally grotesque in places and in some ways frighteningly real. Not hectically deep or life changing, this is an swift, enjoyable read.
